I use it as a diaper bag for my two very small children, so it's always full. No problem with the straps weakening or anything like that, and plenty of room. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, actually I WOULD have given it five stars if it had an interior pocket as well. But since it doesn't and I tend to carry items in their own bags anyway (wet bag, wipes container, snack bag, and usually a book or articles for myself as well, etc- no I don't travel light so as you can see it's QUITE roomy) it works out fine. The exterior pocket is nice and large and easily holds all my own things such as wallet, keys, a small make up bag, usually a CD or two and/or ipod. It would be better if the outside closure had a zipper or at least a button because sometimes when I carry the bag over one shoulder I worry something will fall out, but for the price I suppose you could put a button or snap on yourself if you were so inclined to sewing. Overall it's a great, sturdy, attractive bag. I've washed it several times and it still looks brand new, and as you can see, I am not so easy on things at this point in my life!

I got this for my elementary school daughter. It's a full sized backpack and very sturdy. And it's really, really cute! I had her name monogrammed onto the front flap in big hot pink letters. Now I want to get one for my other daughter, too.

Ordered this b/c I wanted a quilted backpack handbag without paying $100. Love the material-lightweight. Straps are flimsy and not quilted. Also, front velcros very loosely. Disappointed b/c no pockets on inside to divide contents.
